  2. 1 Tbsp olive oil
  3. 10 to 15 asparagus spears, washed, trimmed, cut into 2″ pieces
  4. 1 garlic clove, minced
  5. zest from half Meyer or regular lemon
  6. 2 c 2% milk
  7. 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  8. salt and pepper to taste
